Early-access privacy policy
This notice covers the Liqport marketing website and its early-access registration form. Contact the Liqport team at info@liqport.com about your registration or personal information.
What the form collects
We store your email address, registration time and your request to receive early-access notifications. If you separately choose research notes and product updates, we record that permission and its time. The checkbox is optional and off by default. We also store withdrawals and unsubscribes, and your research interest if you answer the optional question.
When available, we record the originating marketing page, referring website's origin, campaign labels and intended action, such as modifying a strategy. Arbitrary URL parameters and research return links are not included in the registration record. Please do not put personal or confidential information in campaign labels.
How we use it
We use registrations to contact people about Liqport early access and to understand which research workflows they want. Signing up does not open a trading account or grant application access. Requesting early access does not enroll you in research or marketing emails. Those require the separate optional permission. We use that consent for research notes and product updates, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Storage and access
We use WorkOS to store early-access requests and review them for approval. WorkOS receives your email, registration identifier, the version of the signup notice you accepted, limited referral information and any research interest you submit. It also handles invitations after approval. See WorkOS's privacy information.
WorkOS and its subprocessors may transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area, including to the United States. Its Data Processing Addendum provides for international-transfer safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
Our consent and email-preference records are hosted on our EU-based Hetzner infrastructure, separate from public website files, and are accessible to the team operating early access. Research-newsletter permission remains in these records and is not inferred from the WorkOS list. We retain a suppression record after withdrawal to prevent repeat signup attempts from silently restarting emails. Contact us for access, correction or deletion requests, including records held by our processors.
Email delivery and international transfers
When email delivery is enabled, we use Resend to send signup confirmations. WorkOS sends invitations when early-access requests are approved. Resend receives the recipient address and email content and processes delivery information. Research-note permissions and withdrawals are stored in our registration database; signup does not add you to a Resend contact list. We use sending errors to troubleshoot delivery. We do not use email-open tracking or Resend click tracking. Discord links in emails pass through Liqport; if your browser has already accepted analytics, we record that click with campaign labels as described below.
EU hosting does not mean all processing stays in the EU. Resend states that stored data is held in the United States; selecting a European sending region does not change that. Its processor arrangements include a Data Processing Agreement and international-transfer safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. See Resend's data protection information and Data Processing Agreement.
Browser storage and request information
The site remembers your selected colour theme in local browser storage. Registration attribution is read from the current page when you submit the form. Signup processing does not depend on analytics permission.
Optional analytics
When configured and only after you accept, PostHog measures visits, exploration of shared research, selected tabs and controls, applied setting categories, copied links, interaction with the signup form, newly saved registrations. We send limited campaign labels, the referring domain, intended destination, pseudonymous identifiers and session identifiers. Public catalog tier selections and nonfinancial simulation settings may be included. We do not send email values, strategy source, account names, financial amounts, private research URLs or sharing tokens.
PostHog uses browser and session identifiers and cookies to connect permitted activity across Liqport sibling domains. After sign-in, a pseudonymous user identifier connects that activity with the account; we separate author and internal activity from readers. Analytics cookies expire after 180 days; browser storage can persist until cleared. Permitted campaign, referral and destination context is remembered for 30 days, and initial campaign attribution is preserved where available. With consent, copied research links include a separate referral identifier so we can measure subsequent visits. Page visits use fixed page categories without run identifiers, query strings or fragments.
Consented analytics also includes browser and operating-system versions, device category, language, time zone, approximate location inferred from the connection's IP address, time spent on pages, page-performance measurements and clicks on our Discord links. We do not request your device's precise location. Automatic click and form capture and session replay are disabled. Performance events contain numeric measurements without element text or raw resource URLs. Network providers receive the connection information necessary to deliver requests.
Our Discord redirect records consented clicks from the website and tagged email links, with source, campaign and link placement. It uses an existing pseudonymous analytics identifier when available and does not include the recipient's email address. Without analytics consent, the link still redirects to Discord without an analytics event. These events measure link visits, not Discord membership.
With the same consent, we report browser errors using standard error categories, application versions and code locations from our application files. Error messages, form values, console logs and page contents are removed. We use these reports to identify broken screens and understand how many consenting visitors are affected.
Analytics is sent to PostHog's EU service through e.liqport.com. PostHog's managed proxy uses Cloudflare to forward these requests. You can accept or reject analytics, then change your decision using Analytics preferences in the footer. Rejection stops subsequent tracking and clears the current site's analytics persistence. Your choice is remembered for 180 days across Liqport's sibling subdomains. Rejecting analytics does not prevent signup or access to shared research.
The registration service temporarily uses your IP address to limit abusive requests; it does not store it with your registration. Hosting infrastructure may process request information to deliver and protect the website.
Your choices
Joining early access is optional. Signup confirmations include a preference link: you can stop research notes separately or withdraw your request, which removes it from the WorkOS waitlist and stops research notes. Unsubscribing from research notes keeps your request active. Withdrawal does not revoke an invitation already issued or an existing account; contact us if you also want to cancel that access. Preference pages do not load behavioural analytics. If you have not received a confirmation, contact us using the address below to change your preferences.
You can also unsubscribe, withdraw your early-access request, or request access to, correction of or deletion of your registration by emailing info@liqport.com from the address you registered. You can also clear the site's browser storage at any time.
